| Attorneys Richard Lambe has worked in the construction law field since 1979, representing contractors, subcontractors, design professionals, owners, insurance companies and sureties. He has drafted and reviewed hundreds of construction contracts and advised on issues that arise during a construction project. For disputes that become claims, he has both defended and pursued construction claims ranging in size from a few thousand dollars to $92 million. He has resolved claims through mediation and arbitration, and decisions before state and federal courts and the United States Boards of Contract Appeals. His publications include articles in books and ABA publications regarding surety and construction law. Before law school, he worked as a geotechnical engineer on the Trans-Alaska Pipeline project.
He received a S.B. Civil Engineering (Geotechnical and Environmental Engineering) from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a law degree from Stanford Law School.
He is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, Supreme Court of Washington, United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, United States Court of Federal Claims, and United States District Courts for the Western and Eastern Districts of Washington. | |
